lookin' out my back door

Like many, we almost always come and go by way of our back door.  While completely functional, it was just plain ugly.  Of course it was painted the same yellow color as all of the trim, but the lower panel had split at some point.  The window held vintage pressed glass in the snowflake pattern.  While I typically like to save original or traditional elements such as this, I have never been a fan of this pattern.  Time to repair and rejuvenate!

We removed both the door and its transom for repairs.  The old paint was stripped, the split panel was repaired, and we replaced the snowflake glass with clear beveled glass.  Finally, fresh paint and stripped and polished transom hardware completes the facelift!
